Classes - Women’s Kickbox Fitness

WOMEN’S KICKBOX FITNESS is a non-contact 60 minute fully instructed Boxing/ Kickboxing fitness class for women only.

Our team use their combined experience of over 30 years of personal training and martial arts instruction, participation and combat to bring the elements of boxing, kick-boxing, wrestling, judo, karate, jui-jitsu and muay thai to the fitness enthusiast without the need of contact or fighting.

Together they will teach you the safe and correct techniques of Boxing, kicking, knee strikes and elbow strikes on the punch bags and the ground skills and drills from various other martial arts on the mats to form a fun varied workout burning 750+ Calories an hour.

Unlike other boxing/ kickboxing fitness classes you may of done with 20-30 people in at a time, beginner and advance levels in the same group, a limited range of equipment to use and running, skipping or hopping around a hall with an exercise to music instructor with no martial arts experience, partnering you up on focus pads with someone that can injure you?

Instead We teach only 10 women at a time for a high level of individual attention, We have beginner, intermediate and advanced classes available, We only use martial arts experienced instructors, We use punch bags and not pads which allows you to hit the bags as hard or soft as you like, We take away the need for a partner to minimizes the risk of injuries, We incorporate the use of fitness equipment such as medicine balls, power bags, trx suspension trainers, stability balls and power plates in the form of circuits instead of running, skipping or hopping around a hall.

We alternate each person between punch bag striking and equipment circuits to promote greater fat burning and total body toning, focussing on full body and energy system development, enjoyment and results.

BEGINNER CLASSES

• Are for women new to exercise or boxing/ kickboxing type exercise classes

• Are conducted at a much slower pace, concentrating on basic footwork, body mechanics, punches, kicks, knees, elbows and basic body weight exercise techniques

• Are taught in groups of 10 only for a high level of individual attention

INTERMEDIATE CLASSES

• Are for women who have experience with boxing/ kickboxing type exercise classes and have been exercising consistently for over 6 weeks.

• Are conducted at faster pace, concentrating on new footwork skills, striking combinations of punching, kicking, knees and elbows and the introduction of basic floor striking and conditioning exercises techniques

ADVANCED CLASSES

• Are for women with a high level of fitness and experience of all of the above and have been training consistently for 3-6 months

• Are conducted at an intense pace, have little or no rest between exercises

• Use basic offensive and defensive techniques

• Use advance striking, blocking and counter combinations of punching, kicking, knees and elbows

• Use advanced PHA, Metabolic and conditioning exercises techniques

• Incorporate some self defence drills and elements of martial arts

Mondays: Advanced 7.00pm - 8.00pm

Tuesdays: Intermediate 8.00pm - 9.00pm

Wednesdays: Advanced 6.00pm - 7.00pm

Thursdays: Beginner 8.00pm - 9.00pm

Fridays: Advanced 6.00pm - 7.00pm

PRICES

• £10.00 Pay as you go

• £95 X 12 classes pass (£7.92 per class)

Passes can be used for other types of classes no restrictions to only Women’s Kickbox Fitness

We recommend that people with any of the following conditions are not suitable for intermediate and advanced classes and should work with our Personal Trainers, who will maximise your safety and results.

• Epilepsy
• Serious diabetes
• Thrombotic disorders
• Slipped disc
• Discopathy
• Spondylosis
• Joint replacement
• Presence of kidney and gall stones
• Continuing use of drugs, especially pain relievers and corticosteroids
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Recently inserted pins, bolts and screws
• Fresh inflammations

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that we require 24 hours notice from your booked appointment time to cancel or change your appointment, otherwise the single class session fee is payable and will be deducted from your pre paid classes pass. You can do this online with your login details.

Payment is not refundable if the booked sessions are cancelled at any time.

All passes must be used within 3 months or they will become void.

Classes must start promptly on the booked time, anyone late will not be allowed to attend and the session fee will be deducted.
